Based on over 40 years of technological expertise in membrane development & manufacturing, Membrana produces separation membranes for medical and industrial applications. Membrana Filtration is a business unit of Membrana that encompasses the industrial products which include three primary product focuses.
First, we develop and manufacture Liqui-Cel® Membrane Contactors which have become the technology standard for liquid degassing in many industries.
We also forward integrate capillary membrane into Liqui-Flux® Modules which are used for ultrafiltration and microfiltration.
Finally we manufacture flat sheet, capillary and tubular filtration membranes that are integrated by our customers into filtration modules.
Liqui-Cel® Contactors are used for removing gases from liquids or adding gasses to liquids in the semiconductor, power, pharmaceutical, beverage, ink jet ink and other industries.
Liqui-Flux® Modules are suited for surface/drinking water filtration, municipal/industrial wastewater treatment, pre-treatment of seawater for RO and wine and beverage clarification.
